We hired Dan for our wedding reception and I can hand on heart say it was one of the best decisions we made. It brought all the guests that didn't know each other together and broke the ice. For weeks after the wedding I had friends and family asking me where I knew him from and could I send them his details for future parties. His tricks were amazing and left you guessing how he did them. But to top it off he was a genuine, nice bloke. Very down to earth, calm and easy to chat to. I would strongly recommend Dan if you have an event coming up and want people to talk about it when it's finished. I would not think twice about hiring dan again. 10 out of 10!!!!!! I hired Dan countless times for many various events. On each occasion whether private or corporate he was adaptable, flexible to their needs and fantastic. His magic is slick, clever and unique with a flair only Dan can give. Personally he is also fantastic to work with, he understands the need to be on time and was even early on many occasions! When wanting something a bit more bespoke he was great fun to create with and he is perfect to put in front of any client. Dan Farrant mesmerised our lunch party with his astonishing tricks. Even though I was sitting right next to him and watching every move I was completely stunned by the sheer impossibility of what I had just seen. He performs his magic with his sleeves rolled up and without any props. The illusion is so perfect that it is impossible to work out how it was done. The gasps and shrieks of delight from other guests indicated that they too were completely in awe of his skills. Added to all this is his most engaging and friendly manner which makes him a marvellous guest in his own right. I cannot wait to invite him back. ~ Howard S

My friend and I had a joint 40th Birthday party on Saturday night and we booked Dan to entertain our guests with close up magic. My husband had previously seen him at a works function last year and was very impressed. All I can say is that Dan was amazing! Our guests were blown away by his tricks. Our party was black-tie and Dan looked the part too. He was friendly and professional. It was great to see our friends and families faces after each trick. Dan the Magic Man, as he became known, travelled down to us in the deepest darkest New Forest for our son and new wife's wedding party. He was a real hit with all the guests - entertaining them outside during the drinks reception and then while people were seated waiting to be called up for dinner. Having worked with lots of magicians for various events, Dan stands out with natural charm, incredible close-up tricks and a really easy-going nature. He has, in fact, tried to teach me the odd trick or magic-related skill a few times, which makes me even more appreciative of his skills - even if you know how he is doing something, it's still virtually impossible to replicate. He always appears one step ahead of you during a trick, and he manages to do it all in an incredibly endearing way. Dan and a colleague attended out charity Ball on Monday and they were excellent. The guests had speeches, interviews and a video to watch but most of them commented on how entertaining the magician was! Dan was very professional, he was on time and smartly dressed. I have seen many magicians perform but Dan is by far the most gifted. He leaves me wondering if there are some other forces at work. His mind reading and ability to trick the eye go so far beyond good party tricks it becomes a little bit spooky (in a good way).
